Are your cupboards full of stuff you'd be glad to get rid of, but other people might like to have? As part of Recycle Week 2010, DGG and Veolia are organising a Give & Take day. Give & Takes are community events promoting the three Rs: reduce, reuse and recycle. Bring items you no longer need and swap them for things you do – free! Typical items include CDs/DVDs, books, clothes, small electrical goods, baby buggies, children's bikes and toys, lamps, plants and kitchenware. Items should be in good condition and easy for someone to carry home or take on public transport. Veolia will test electrical items before sale.
